Product Description
1 Goldback Reverentia is the first Reverence in the Goldback series, 1/1000th oz of 24K gold. This design honors Wyoming’s Native American heritage and the sacred relationship between creation and Creator.
Reverentia (Reverence) is a Shoshone woman in buckskin dress standing on the northeastern plains of Wyoming. Her wind blown hair represents freedom, a bald eagle with falconry gear on her arm represents divine messaging. Sunflowers surrounding her represent life’s connection to light, seven ladybugs represent the sacred legend of Devil’s Tower.
The scene includes carefully chosen elements: Mato Tipila (Bear Lodge) in the background is the sacred site where seven girls were transformed into the Pleiades constellation. An American Bison behind Reverentia and a bison skull in the foreground represent strength, abundance and stability. These elements are central to both Eastern Shoshone and Northern Arapaho tribal logos. The footing "Revere what is Sacred" is guidance and reminder. Every detail was crafted to make not just currency but a representation of Wyoming’s spiritual heritage and reverence for the natural cycles.
