The 25 Goldback Victoria is the first design in the Utah Goldback Series. Each note contains 25/1000th oz of 24K gold and is a tribute to women’s suffrage and many of the women who have led Utah’s history.

Victoria (Victory) is shown with a child, representing the women’s suffrage movement where mothers marched with their children for the right to vote. The banner she carries says “Votes Counting Since 1870” commemorating Utah’s role in women’s suffrage where Seraph Young cast the first female vote in American history. Victoria holds bundled wheat, representing how small things add up to big change and the Chi-Rho topped flag represents the spiritual strength of Utah’s women.

The scene is set against the Alpine mountains, with carefully chosen symbols: a falcon soaring, aspen trees representing human connection, a stone wall built one victory at a time. The child is holding a branch, representing future generations to hold on to the gains. The footing “Go on to Victory” is both a celebration and an inspiration. Every detail has been designed to honor Utah’s women pioneers, from Martha Hughes Cannon the first female State Senator to all the others who shaped Utah’s progressive history.
